I have been doing paralegal work since 1989 when I was a legal intern with Community Legal Information Center (CLIC), a hands on pre-law program through California State University, Chico. I started ACCESS COURT SERVICES in 1995 and have been working with family law clients since that time.
Because of my journalism background, I have been able to help clients tell their side of the story in court documents. My hundreds of hours volunteering in the Butte County Superior Court helping unrepresented individuals obtain restraining orders and orders after hearing for custody, visitation, support has given me a unique perspective of the court experience. Giving the court the right amount of the right information is crutial.
I am a native Northern Californian, born in San Carlos on the San Francisco Peninsula. Our family moved to Chico, CA in 1967 and resided there until 2000 when my husband, family law attorney Chris Loizeaux and I moved to Napa, CA. We presently have offices in both Napa and Chico.
I have two adult sons and three grandchildren living in Chico, CA. and a grandson residing in Colorado Springs, CO.
We raise and show Tibetan Terriers and Bichons Frise. My life-long love of dogs has been rewarding and centering.
